Employing a "leadership from the inside-out" philosophy through two decades of leading teams
through significant transition, Kelly was consistently tapped as an internal
coach and for leadership roles in organization-wide development initiatives and
earned the "Coach Kelly" moniker. While President of an Information Technology
firm poised to become 100% employee-owned, a primary focus was developing "ownership thinking" at every level of the company, including the financial
literacy and transparency needed for customer-facing employees to play
significant roles in company growth.
Raised in a
family transferred every three years by IBM (fondly referred to as "I've Been
Moved"), Kelly has an adaptable style and comfort with a wide range of company
cultures. A consummate professional, she understands and honors the integrity
of the coaching relationship, which has earned team member trust to work
effectively at multiple levels within an organization. Combined with her
business experience, Kelly has a deep appreciation for the diverse needs of
leaders tapped to deliver results in today's global economy.
Before
launching her coaching business, Kelly served in multiple senior leadership
roles, most recently as President of
a national Information Technology services firm. Previous roles include Director of Core Services (Finance, HR
and IT) of a national Information Technology Services firm, Regional Program Manager for an
international Management Consulting firm, Regional Director of Operations for the Digital Media division of
an international Experiential Marketing (Branding, eLearning & Events) company, and Client Service Group Manager for a leading Seattle-based Branding and Graphic Design firm. Kelly
has also served on the boards of both non-profit and for-profit organizations.
